How Achievements Work
MoveTogether rewards your progress with achievements. As you stay active, compete with friends, and build consistency, you'll unlock medals that showcase your fitness journey.
Achievements are earned automatically — you don't need to claim them. When you unlock an achievement, you'll see a celebration animation and receive a notification.
Medal Tiers
Each achievement has four medal tiers, representing increasing levels of accomplishment:
🥉 Bronze — Getting started. These are designed to be achievable early in your journey.
🥈 Silver — Building momentum. You've shown real commitment.
🥇 Gold — Serious dedication. These take sustained effort.
💎 Diamond — Elite status. The rarest medals, earned by the most dedicated users.

Milestone Achievements
Cumulative step milestones (10K, 50K, 100K, and beyond)

"First Steps" — Complete your first competition
Social Achievements

React to a friend's activity
Participate in a group competition with 5 or more people
Viewing Your Achievements
Go to your Profile tab to see:
Achievements you've earned, with their medal tier
Progress toward upcoming achievements
Your total medal count
Detailed views of each achievement (tap any achievement to see the full medal with a 3D rotatable view)
Achievement Notifications
You'll receive a push notification and see an in-app celebration when you earn a new achievement. These celebrations include confetti, sparkle, or fireworks animations, depending on the significance of the achievement.
