Troubleshooting common competition problems.

My Score Isn't Updating

If your competition score isn't reflecting your recent activity:

  1. Check that your tracker is syncing. Go to Settings β†’ Connected Devices and verify your tracker is connected. See our data sync troubleshooting article for detailed steps.

  2. Pull down to refresh on the competition leaderboard.

  3. Wait a few minutes. Third-party trackers (Fitbit, Garmin, WHOOP, Oura) can take 15–30 minutes to sync new data.

  4. Make sure the competition is still active. If the end date has passed, scores are frozen.

I Can't Join a Competition

Possible reasons:

  • The competition has already ended. You can only join active or upcoming competitions.

  • You're at your competition limit. Starter (free) plan users can only have 2 active competitions at a time. Upgrade to Mover or Crusher for unlimited competitions.

  • The invite link or code is invalid. Ask the competition creator for a new link or code.

  • The competition creator has restricted invitations. Some competitions may only be open to specific invited users.

I Can't Create a Competition

  • Check your competition limit. Starter plan users can only have 2 active competitions. If you're at the limit, wait for a current competition to end or upgrade your plan.

  • Make sure you have a connected tracker. You need an active tracker connection to create competitions.

A Participant's Score Seems Wrong

All competition scores are calculated server-side to ensure accuracy and prevent cheating. If a score seems incorrect:

  • The participant may be using a different tracker that syncs at a different frequency.

  • There may be a temporary sync delay.

  • If you still believe there's an error after 24 hours, contact our support team.
