How to Add Friends
There are several ways to connect with friends in MoveTogether:
Search by username. If you know your friend's MoveTogether username, tap the Friends tab, then tap the search icon. Type their username and send a friend request.
Share your invite link. Every MoveTogether user has a unique invite link. Go to your Profile tab, tap Share Profile or Invite Friends, and send your link through text, email, social media, or any messaging app. When someone opens your link and creates an account (or already has one), you'll be connected.
Invite from contacts. In the Friends tab, tap Invite Friends. MoveTogether can check your phone contacts to see if anyone you know already has an account. For contacts who aren't on the app yet, you can send them a text invite.
Friend Requests
When someone sends you a friend request, you'll receive a notification. To manage your requests:
Go to the Friends tab.
Tap Friend Requests to see pending requests.
Tap Accept to add them as a friend, or Decline to dismiss the request.
Who Can Send You Friend Requests?
You control who can send you friend requests through your privacy settings:
Go to Settings → Privacy.
Under Social Controls, find Who can send friend requests.
Choose from: Everyone, Friends of Friends, or No One.
Removing a Friend
If you want to remove someone from your friends list:
Go to the Friends tab.
Find the person you want to remove.
Tap their profile, then tap Remove Friend.
Confirm your choice.
Removing a friend won't remove them from any active competitions you're both in, but they'll no longer appear in your activity feed or be suggested for future competitions.
Blocking a User
If someone is behaving inappropriately, you can block them:
Tap the user's profile.
Tap the more options menu (three dots).
Select Block User.
Blocked users cannot send you friend requests, invite you to competitions, see your activity, or interact with you in any way. You can manage your blocked list in Settings → Privacy → Blocked Users.
